Q: Why is there an odor when first using my item?

A: Before using your new air fryer to prepare food, it is necessary to preheat it to 350° Fahrenheit or 177° Celsius for five minutes. This will allow the protective coating of oil to burn off. It is normal for some smoke and smell to appear.

 

Q: Is the non-stick coating safe?

A: Yes. There is no Teflon, PTFE, or PFOA on the units or any of the included accessories.

 

Q: Are the coffee makers BPA free?

A: Yes. All materials that come into contact with coffee or water are BPA free.

 

Q: Is there a Warranty, & how do I register my product?

A: Yes, there is a 1-year limited warranty. You may register your product here.

 

Q: How can I order additional or replacement accessories for my item?

A: To submit a request for additional or replacement accessories, send an email to appliancesupport@monchateau.us. In your correspondence, please include your Full Name, Mailing Address, Phone Number, and Model Number.

 

Q: Where can I get a copy of the instruction manual for my item?

A: Navigate to the Manuals page, located under the Support Tab, and the Instruction Manuals and Quick Start Guides are available for your review and download.

 

Q: Where can I find the recipes for my item?

A: If your product includes a recipe book, you can find it here.

 

Q: Where can I purchase your products?

A: Our products are currently sold at across the United States at such retailers as Sur La Table, Macy’s, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Belk and other fine retailers, with select items available at Costco. They are also available internationally at Costco Mexico, Costco UK, and Costco Canada.

 

Q: Can I use extension cords with my item?

A: A short power-supply cord or detachable power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:

  1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
  2. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally; and
  3. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or extension cord should be grounding type 3-wire cord.

 

Q: How can I return/exchange my Item?

A: If needed, you may return or exchange your item at the original place of purchase. If you received a defective unit and would like to contact customer service, please send an email to: appliancesupport@monchateau.us.  In your correspondence, please include your Full Name, Mailing Address, Phone Number, and Model Number.

 

Q: How much clearance around the units is needed?

A: Do not place any of the items in an appliance garage and allow space for air to flow on all sides of your unit.

 

Q: I purchased an Espresso Machine and am unable to find my cleaning kit.  Where is it located?

A: The cleaning kit is located inside the bottom tray, in the back left corner. For more information, please watch the available informational video.

 

Q:  Are the accessories dishwasher safe?

A: Many of the accessories that come with your appliance are dishwasher safe. To be sure, please consult the Instruction Manual that comes with your unit or review it here on our website.
